Samhain.
On the forest floor we breathe in the abundance of the earth and give thanks. Samhain marks the end of the celtic year and the beginning of the new. We gather together and draw ourselves in during this time of the darkening of the days. The new year begins on 1st November, when energies go underground. This is a period of going within and regenerating, much like a gestation period, before we experience the birth of Spring.
